The last couple of weeks have been creating so very many memories. It’s been a busy time. I’m hoping that as of today I will have time to contemplate them. I wonder how many people actually take time to wander through memories….

Thank you, Ellen, I’m hoping that I can take this month and sort of slow down a bit. I have vincent’s new book in to read and so many things to think about in order to keep things simple. Time for getting to the core of things. Merrill
Dear Scott, Thank you very much for your thoughts. I am new to haibun. As you saw, Haiku Prayers is a new blog, with a different format. I’ll add the link here for others too. http://haikuprayers.wordpress.com Ellen

This is a lovely and touching poem. I especially like the haibun version on your other site, Haiku Prayers.

Surprised that you are new to haibun … it seems quite natural to you.

I’ve been reading and writing haiku a long time. Have read many haibun, so maybe more of a step than “new.”
