The Broken Way by Ann Voskamp

I am reading The Broken Way: a daring path into the abundant life, by Ann Voskamp (Zondervan 2016; Copyright by Ann Morton Voskamp).

This book is blessing me these days; after a year of new losses, challenges, and many new blessings.

Ann’s writing is honest and from her heart.  She writes prose with the soul of a poet – her own special voice.

Her book is also the work of a scholar.  Ann Voskamp has a page for “Bible Translations Cited.”  The Notes for each chapter include references for Bible verses, and many authors.  Some of the authors she mentions are Mother Teresa, Martin Luther, Eugene Peterson, and Elizabeth Elliot.
