Words and thoughts from the Psalms become a part of my informal prayers.

For example,

Lord, thank you for being with us “until these calamities be overpast” – from the post for Psalm 57 yesterday. And God is always with us.

My father taught history, and my mother taught literature. They had big picture faith. It is easy to imagine a conversation with them now. My mother quoted from literature, and my father had his perspective as a veteran. My mother would love “until these calamities be overpast.”

The Psalms help me with my words, along with faith. Creative at home.

I am learning more about art history, at Reusable Art – Breathing New Life Into Old Art. The artists could not have imagined blogs! The perspective of time. The Special Image Categories page is an example.
