Creative Work and Memory

Memory, Beauty, Hope was my post for Mother’s Day this year at Poems From Oostburg, Wisconsin.

One of my poems in the post:

country cemetery
trumpet vines
growing taller
than the gravestones

The following Bible verse today is in memory and honor of my mother. Her passing was in 2004, and love grows. She often quoted from literature, including the Bible. Her mother died a year before I was born – the same day as my birthday. Literature and faith sustained my mother. Creativity is part of health for me.

But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me,
I shall come forth as gold.

Job 23: 10 (KJV)

Mother’s Day
sorrow turns to stars
and butterflies

“country cemetery” was published in Time Of Singing, 2012.

Creative at home and grateful every day.
