I mentioned in an earlier post that Karl and I sponsor three children with Compassion International. They are from three countries, and they live with their families. We sent Easter greetings through the email service Compassion International provides. We are no longer strangers. We are friends.
My mother taught literature and read novels. When she was no longer able to read, I read to her. And found old movies that she would enjoy, and that would recall her life chapters. We also watched current programs.
I have read all of Jan Karon’s novels. Wonderful characters. Good examples of faith through many stories. You can learn more about Jan’s books at Jan Karon’s Mitford site.
