Place – Daily Prompt

Do you have a favorite place you have visited? Where is it?

Daily Prompt

This morning I posted a poem about the Midwest at Poems From Oostburg, Wisconsin.

I have thought more about PLACE today, and how the Psalms and prayer are a place of peace for me.

Then I thought about authors and books. Two examples are:

Jan Karon and her Mitford novels – books to reread. Wonderful characters, stories, and a sense of place.

Tracy Balzer and her book, A Journey of Sea and Stone: How Holy Places Guide and Renew Us. I plan to reread this thoughtful book.

Today I am reading again . . .

Today I am reading again from Time Of Singing, Summer 2021. Darlene Moore Berg is one of the poets in this issue. Her site is Darlene’s Poetical Pursuits.

Violet Nesdoly is another poet I know from TOS, over the years. Her site is Violet Nesdoly author – writer – artist. This week I received Violet’s beautiful art cards that I ordered from her ETSY shop, VioletNesdolyArt.

Poetry Journals – Spring 2021

Today I received two poetry print journals in the mail. Please visit their sites, if you would like more information. I have subscribed to both for years.

and

WestWard Quarterly The Magazine of Family Reading

And two photos for this post, from the WordPress.com free photo library.
