Psalm 4

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness:
thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress;
have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

Psalm 4: 1

Post from March 20, 2020 – thought I would share a few posts from our 2020 series. New for some readers, and always good to read again.

Compassion International

Karl and I sponsor three children with Compassion International. They are from three countries, and they live with their families. We receive letters and updates. I plan to write some Easter notes soon. We have worked with them for years, and there are many ways to help.

Daily writing prompt

PSALM 100

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the LORD is good: his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Gratitude and Growth

What experiences in life helped you grow the most?

Daily writing prompt

This prompt follows my previous post, Remembrance.

I bought the 10th Anniversary Edition of One Thousand Gifts, by Ann Voskamp. I read the book awhile ago and wished to read the “Introduction for the 10th anniversary edition the gift of grace upon grace,” written by Ann Voskamp in 2020. The Page for the book at Ann’s site has a picture of the cover and more information.

One of my sites is Grief And Acceptance – growth continues, by God’s grace.

I think of snowdrops
