Anthologies: Three Poems

peaceful morning
a prayer from childhood
still with me

reading memoirs
and then the view
outside today

light falls
through yellow maple leaves
the mercy of God

One idea I have for a new Page is to create a sequence of my poems that have been published in anthologies. Perhaps this post is a good way to begin a small collection, for Poems From Psalms And Nature.

Poems in this post are by Ellen Grace Olinger. Thank you.

“Peace be within thy walls”

Peace be within thy walls,
and prosperity within thy palaces.

For my brethren and companions’ sakes,
I will now say, Peace be within thee.

Because of the house of the LORD our God,
I will seek thy good.

Psalm 122: 7 – 9
