Garden Journal Photos And Poems

I began with photography as an almost daily practice in Spring.  Here are some of my favorite photos (2015), with short poems from this year and other times. Hope you enjoy the post.

The first flowers to bloom in our yard in Spring are tiny snowdrops.

Shadows of forsythia “painted” the garage, and I took this photo earlier this year.

Psalms And Nature

The WordPress Photo Challenge this week is Happy Place – where do I go to renew?  The Psalms and nature offer renewal.  I love reading through the Psalms, and then beginning again.  They are always new, and a deep part of my life, at the same time.  The garden through the seasons also brings comfort and hope.  I often read the Psalms aloud.

Wait on the Lord:
be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord.
