Psalm 4

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness:
thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress;
have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

Psalm 4: 1

Post from March 20, 2020 – thought I would share a few posts from our 2020 series. New for some readers, and always good to read again.

Compassion International

Karl and I sponsor three children with Compassion International. They are from three countries, and they live with their families. We receive letters and updates. I plan to write some Easter notes soon. We have worked with them for years, and there are many ways to help.

PSALM 100

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the LORD is good: his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Prayers

As I pray the Psalms for health and peace, I read this verse again, from our 2020 series. The post was from April 17, 2020. And I know many people are praying always.

But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God:
I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

Psalm 52: 8
