Creative Notes: Book Reviews

I enjoyed reading the recent BOOK REVIEWS in Time Of Singing, A Journal Of Christian Poetry (Volume 46, “Intermezzo,” Fall 2019). Lora Homan Zill is editor.

Inspired by the reviews, I ordered a few books.

Two examples are:

Lanterns by Lorraine Joy McLeod. Published by Xlibris, 2018. Reviewed by Elizabeth Howard.

What Cannot Be Fixed by Jill Peláez Baumgaertner. The Poiema Poetry Series. Cascade Books, an imprint of Wipf and Stock, 2014. Reviewed by Lora Homan Zill.

I also reread books by poets I have read for years and years. Luci Shaw is an example. And every week, I enjoy poems by many poets through our blogs. Poetry goes with me wherever I go, and sometimes is simply stored in my heart. Thank you.

Sunday Notes

Yesterday, Karl and I went to The Salvation Army Family Store in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.  We bought two small books to add to my collection of devotional books from thrift stores.
