Spring continues
to bless with primroses,
lilacs, forget-me-nots,
and bleeding hearts
Summer soon
and there will be peonies,
roses, daylilies, and hosta
flowers
Fall is welcome
in its time with
all the colors
and shorter days
Winter fades
from memory now
though not the beauty
and the quiet
Sometimes I wonder
where the years go
and what the seasons were
they are recorded here
Summer soon – June 7, 2019

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving,
and tell of all thy wondrous works.

November Wisconsin countryside
Bare trees elegant against the sky
Colors in the landscape muted now
October’s glory is gone
And love grows eternally
