For my post yesterday, Love, I searched for posts with the word love. I rediscovered my Short Prayer Of Trust (October 2012 and January 2014).

Dear Lord,

Thank You for this day,
which You already know.

May I follow You each moment,
and trust You more,
and so rest as I work.

Thank You for your Love . . .

long winter night
many years
go through my mind

the decades deepen
trust in God

and my heart is at peace

gentle growing snowfall
evergreens heavy-laden
and bearing the weight
with such ease

all the fields
that will soon be
corn and soybeans
wheat and wildflowers

prepared for planting
